Land of the Giants

 The long awaited release of Land Of The Giants from Columbia House is finally here. Columbia House has released the first two volumes containing six episodes, three per DVD. 

Volume 1 has the Crash, Ghost Town and Framed on it and volume 2 contains  Underground, Terror Go Round and Flightplan. Volume 3 has Manhunt, The Trap, The Creed. Volume 4 has The Weird World, The Golden Cage, The Lost Ones, Volume 5 has Brainwash, The Bounty Hunter, On A Clear Night You Can See Earth. Volume 6 has Deadly Lodestone, The Night Of Thrombeldinbar, Framed. Volume seven has Target Earth, Genius At Work, Return Of Inidu. Volume 8 contains Rescue, Sabotage, Shell Game, The Chase. Columbia House has released only two season two volumes The Mechanical Man, Six Hours To Live, The Inside Rail.The last volume volume ten contains the episodes Deadly Pawn, The Unsuspected, Giants And All That Jazz. The prints are crisp, the sound quality is beautiful, and they come nicely packaged with episode slickers which give you a little insight into the episodes. 

As far as bonuses, there are trivia facts and cast biographies with every episode. Some very interesting tidbits to say the least. 

All in all Columbia House has done a beautiful job with these DVDs. As of this date June fourth 2004 only ten volumes have been released. Whether Columbia House finishes the series is unknown at the moment.
