February 2002
Here we are in late winter - what a mild one it has been so far here in NY! No snow at all this winter which is very
surprising, but not unwelcome. On the LIS front,
Sheila Allen and Twentieth Century Fox have signed an agreement that will
give LIS a home at Fox for the next twenty five years. This is great
news. Maybe now LIS will move forward and be in the public eye again. If you
recall, LIS Memories first broke news about the proposed NBC LIS
reunion movie. The latest is that NBC has ordered a script and it is being worked on right
now. Something may, or may not come of this. NBC could get the script and
decide not to do the project. Only time will tell.
Mark Goddard was recently featured in a Boston Globe
article. Very nicely
done I must say.
Anyone catch the CBS This Morning Show a few weeks ago? I
got a call from the program manager from the Morning show (who got my name via
June Lockhart) asking if they could borrow some LIS collectables for the
special. I was happy to accommodate. I had a blast going down to the studio
with my buddy Dave Goudsward and helping out.
The biography that was done on
Jonathan Harris recently may air this June. When I was out in LA in January, Jonathan
mentioned over dinner that he had just seen a screening and told me it came
out wonderfully. I can't wait to see it. We will of course post an air date as
soon as we know one.
June Lockhart told me she is going to be on the TV show the Weakest
Link in April. As soon as she gives me an airdate we will post it here to LIS
Memories. As always, keep checking back to LIS Memories for our latest
updates. I appreciate all the support you LIS fans have given LIS Memories
since its inception back in 1999.
Until next time,
Lost In Space Forever
